Japan not taking in refugees; says it must look after its citizens first

UNITED NATIONS –  Japan's prime minister said Tuesday that his nation needs to attend to its own demographic challenges posed by falling birth rates and an aging population before opening its doors to refugees.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced at the U.N. General Assembly that Japan is ramping up assistance in response to the exodus of refugees to Europe from the Middle East and Africa.

Dutch doctor rebuked for euthanizing dementia patient without consent

NL Times has reported that for the first time, a Dutch doctor has been reprimanded for euthanizing a dementia patient without conclusively establishing it was what she wanted.

The Regional Euthanasia Review Committee found that consent wasn't established, and that the implementation of euthanasia was traumatic.

Migrant influx pushes German population growth to highest since 1992

Germany's population registered its biggest increase in more than 20 years in 2015, data showed on Friday, as record numbers of migrants entered the country. The Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Rights of Children, Anna Kutsnetsova, met with her Finish counter parts this week.  The discussion is based on the seizures of Russian Children by the Finish government.

During the meeting with the commissioner for the affairs of Finland Toumas and Kurttila
claimed the Russians were not assimilating into finish society giving the government some claims to take their children.
